7 Game 7 Slogans

Tonight, the Blackhawks and Red Wings face off in Game 7 to determine who
gets through to the “Final Four” of the NHL Playoffs.

There’s no question that every player who hits the ice tonight will be motivated,
excited and driven to win.

But they still need a signpost to guide them. They need a message that unifies
them in a singular mission that they can come back to when the going gets tough.

I’ve been collecting a bunch of different slogans from various books, articles
and websites recently, so I thought I’d share 7 of my favorites with you today.
Whether you’re a coach in game 7 trying to find a way to unify your team or a
player looking for that extra jolt of motivation to get your through an upcoming
off-ice workout, hopefully one of these messages “speaks” to you and will help
you push through.

::: Do not hope for an easy game. Hope for the strength to endure a tough one.

::: Goals live on the other side of obstacles and challenges. Along the way, make no
excuses and place no blame.

::: Success is simple. Do the right things, the right way, at the right time.

::: Don’t put in 1/2 of the effort, unless you’re okay with getting 1/2 the results.

::: You can have results or excuses. Not both.

::: There will be many difficult obstacles in your path. Don’t let yourself be one of them.

::: Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live
in the world they’ve been given than to explore the power they have to change it.
Impossible is not a fact. It’s an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It’s a dare.

Feel free to pass these along to anyone else you think might benefit from them.

Keep Working Hard and Dreaming BIG.

Your friend and coach,

Kim
