Choosing the Right Quick Release Shot
When it comes to getting shots off quickly, it’s important for players to understand which shot makes the most sense given the circumstance. Is the puck positioned in front of them or beside them? Do they have time and space or do they have to get it off quickly under pressure and with traffic? There are lots of things to take into consideration when making the right shot decision – but first players need to have a solid foundation of getting both wrist shots and snap shots off quickly.
