There are exactly 16 weeks left until most teams start their pre-season training camps. That means you’ve got 16 weeks to put in the work and gain a HUGE advantage on the competition.

That’s why I’m relaunching the Total Female Hockey ELITE Training System today.

It’s a 16 week off-ice training program designed specifically for players who want to compete at the highest level possible next season – complete with 3 step-by-step DVDs, 16 weekly workout videos, 16 stickhandling and shooting “how to” videos and 4 brand-new ON-ICE videos where I show you exactly how take your shooting, stickhandling and goal-scoring to the next level.

If you’re ready to do the work, I’m going to give you everything you need to move closer to your dreams ON the ice by showing you exactly what you need to do OFF the ice to take your speed, strength, stamina, shooting and stickhandling to the next level.

This is your chance to blow away the competition in the fall.

You can find all the details of this limited-time offer at the link below:

http://totalfemalehockey.com/exclusive-offer/

BUT you need to read this first…

… IF you want to reach the elite level of women’s hockey one day.

Every year, the top 100+ elite women’s players from across this country are invited to a high-intensity OFF-ICE ONLY boot-camp to see how they stack up against their competition for spots on the national team.

The fact that these players won’t step on the ice, and will only be evaluated on their off-ice ability, tells you a lot about what it REALLY important when it comes to getting to and excelling at the next level.

It reminds me of when I first went out to Calgary to help out as a coach at one of these camps. I will never forget the first words that the national team coach said to the players at their first meeting:

“What is going to separate you from everyone else in this room
is what you are willing to do OFF the ice to get better.”

Notice she didn’t talk about game-sense, playmaking or goal scoring…

Those things are definitely important…

… But when it comes to separating yourself from the rest of the competition
at every level of women’s hockey, the truth is that it’s the hard work you
put in OFF the ice that gives you a serious advantage.

You’ll need to work HARD this summer to get to the next level…
But figuring out exactly what you need to do will be EASY.

With the Elite Training System, I’ve written out every single workout for you,
complete with pictures and descriptions of every single exercise, and have
also created 3 DVDs that show you how to do every speed, strength and
conditioning exercise in the program.

And just to make sure you know exactly what you’re doing every step of the way,
I’ve included 16 Workout of the Week videos, 16 Shooting & Stickhandling
videos and 4 On-Ice Skill Videos for you.

Normally these 36 follow-along videos would double the price of the program,
but I’m giving them to you for FREE when you take action and get your hands on
The Elite Training System before Friday May 10th at midnight.

The Under-18 provincial team tryouts start in a few weeks here in Toronto.
After watching these tryouts in person for the past 5 years,
I can tell you a few key things that really made players stand out:

:: Dynamic skating – especially quick change of direction
:: Quick and accurate puck movement – hard tape to tape passing
:: 1-on-1 ability – for both forwards and defense

But the #1 THING that always make a player stand out is:

:::: Their ability to SHOOT the puck ::::

When it comes to getting to the next level, you can’t afford to have a weak shot
of any kind. That means your backhand, snap shot, wrist shot and slap shot,
all have to be quick, powerful and accurate.

And The #1 Secret To Shooting is:

=> It’s all in the HIPS.

In order to have a quick, powerful and accurate shot,
your hip movement and core strength are key.

You can have the strongest arms and legs around,
but if you aren’t able to generate power through your hips,
the power of your shot will always be sub-par.

When we teach you shooting on the ice, it is sometimes very
difficult to break down technique all the way to the most
basic concept of using your hips. This concept is the most
critical when we’re talking about slap-shots and wrist shots.

Instead we focus on weight transfer, hand position,
point of contact and follow-through, which are all important…

… But the *real* key is generating power through your hips.

Let me show you what I mean…

I created a short video for you – explaining this idea of using the hips
and showing you 3 critical exercises you must do to take the speed,
power and accuracy of your shot to the next level.

Please feel free to pass this along to anyone you think might benefit from it.

Enjoy!

Keep Working Hard and Dreaming BIG.

~ Coach Kim

The great thing about coaching girls, whether on or off the ice,
is that they are always trying to do the drill or exercise as
perfectly as possible.

They don’t want to mess up for fear of being embarrassed in front
of their teammates or yelled at by the coach.

The problem with this is that when the coach draws up a drill on the board,
the girls are so scared of make a mistake that they memorize how to
do the drill perfectly, and forget to think about how to do the
same drill CREATIVELY.

To really excel on the ice, you need to understand how to do the
drill perfectly, but then you need to be able to think “outside the
box”.

I am not advocating that players decide to do their own thing on
every drill…

… But girls hockey players are way too “ROBOTIC” out on the ice!!!

They follow the plan to the letter because in their mind the
consequences of failure far outweigh possibility of success.
They don’t want to “screw up”. They don’t want to get yelled at.
They don’t want to stand-out in anyway – negatively or positively.

We NEED to tip the balance the other way.

This fear of failure ultimately boils down to a lack of CONFIDENCE.

Girls hockey players need to understand that it is not only OK to
take chances, but it is the ONLY way to get better.

Getting to and excelling at the next level is all about being
CREATIVE.

Sure, we’ve all played on teams where there were a lot of different
forechecking, power-play and penalty kill systems that we had to learn.

BUT it was always the players who were able to be creative within the
context of those systems that really stood out on the ice.

If you want to give yourself an unfair advantage over the competition,
you can’t just follow the pattern and go through the motions.

To stand-out, you need to think outside the box.

Learn the drills, patterns and systems – and then BE CREATIVE.

Keep Working Hard & Dreaming BIG.

Your friend and coach,

Kim

PS – We just added a few more camps to our Spring & Summer Schedule.
